Our Charity Golf Day this year was again held in the most splendid of weather and course conditions with 119 players entering.
Kingsland Drinks commissioned a trophy called the Kingsland Drinks & R&J Facilities Cup which was won with a splendid score of 95 by “The Weapons of Grass Destruction” a team entered by Lytham Windows. For those who do not know 95 is an excellent score and as trophy holders they have to defend it next year!!
Derian House did a splendid job on the day and particular thanks goes to Joanne Moss who gave the presentation which is not an easy task. Well done Jo Sam Gamble our Area Manager did a sterling job with the putting competition, team and presentation photos which were very professional Thanks Sam. Lytham Green Drive Golf Club extended every help to us on the day and our thanks go to them.
We have already booked next year on the 23rd of September so get your applications ready!
Norman Prince was our Master of Ceremonies and has promised to do the event next year which has pleased everyone as he did a splendid job particularly with the auction.
This year we raised over £7,500 which is an outstanding achievement and the thanks of Derian House, Kingsland Drinks and us goes out to each and every player, sponsor and auction winners for their support. Many thanks and best wishes to all and we look forward to seeing old and new friends next year.
