Jim Savage Obituary

7/11/2019

It’s with the deepest and profound regret we announce the passing today of our beloved colleague, Jim Savage.

Jim was admitted to hospital on Saturday with suspected pneumonia, had tests and scans but succumbed to the illness early this morning.

Jim was the founding Director of R&J Facilities in 2010 and semi-retired on his 70th birthday in March 2018. Jim remained on in a consultancy capacity enjoying the freedoms from administration and his ambassadorial role with clients and staff alike. Jim was a stalwart within our industry and a much respected and revered individual. His passing will be a very sad loss to this company, our clients and staff alike.

On a personal note, I’m going to miss his wise council & advice, he was a one-off and it was a great pleasure to have known him and enjoy his company and humour.

On behalf of our clients and staff we extend our deepest sympathy and condolences to his wife Catherine. May you rest in peace, Jim, you have lived respected and died regretted.

Jim's funeral will take place on Friday 22nd November at Lytham crematorium at 12:30pm then to Lytham Green Golf Club afterwards.
